Get quick answers to the most common questions about Mivlet's AI widget platform.
Mivlet is a platform that allows you to create and deploy AI-powered conversational widgets for your website, documentation, or web applications. You can train these widgets on your own knowledge base (documents, FAQs, etc.) to provide accurate, context-aware responses to user queries without hallucination.
No, Mivlet is designed to be no-code. You can create, customize, and deploy AI widgets through our visual dashboard. Simply upload your knowledge base, configure your widget's appearance and behavior, and deploy with a single line of code.
You can use various knowledge sources including plain text, URLs (which we scrape), and uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, TXT, etc.). Our system processes these sources into vector embeddings for efficient and accurate retrieval.
Mivlet uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to ground AI responses in your provided knowledge base. When a user asks a question, the system first searches your knowledge documents for relevant information, then uses that context to generate a response, ensuring answers are based solely on your provided content.
Yes, you can fully customize the widget's appearance to match your brand. This includes colors, positioning, icon, welcome message, and more. We provide a visual editor where you can see changes in real-time.
Mivlet widgets can be embedded on any website or web platform that allows custom JavaScript snippets. This includes WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, custom HTML sites, and web applications built with React, Vue, Angular, etc.
Yes, we take data security seriously. All knowledge base data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We are SOC 2 compliant and undergo regular security audits. Your data is never used to train third-party AI models.
Mivlet provides detailed analytics including conversation volume, user satisfaction scores, popular queries, and fallback rates. You can track how users interact with your widget and identify areas for improvement in your knowledge base.

Yes, Mivlet offers integrations with popular tools like Zapier, Slack, and Webhooks. You can also use our API to programmatically manage widgets, knowledge bases, and conversations.
To create your first AI widget, go to the Widgets section in your dashboard, click "Create widget", provide a name, select a template or start from scratch, configure the initial greeting and appearance, and then save. Your widget will be created and ready for deployment.
Published widgets are live and can be embedded on your website to interact with visitors. Draft widgets are not live and are only accessible in the builder for further editing. You can switch between draft and published status at any time.
You can update your widget's knowledge base by editing the associated knowledge base in the Knowledge Engine section. Add, remove, or update documents, and then re-index the knowledge base. Changes will be reflected in the widget after re-indexing.
If you exceed your plan limits (e.g., number of widgets or conversation volume), you will receive a notification and may be prompted to upgrade your plan. On the free plan, exceeding limits may restrict certain features until you upgrade or wait for the next billing cycle.
Analytics for each widget are available in the widget's detail view. You can see metrics such as conversation count, user satisfaction, popular queries, and more. Detailed analytics can also be exported via the API.
Yes, you can update your widget's appearance at any time through the visual builder. Changes are saved immediately and will be reflected in the deployed widget without requiring re-deployment.
To delete a knowledge base, go to the Knowledge Engine section, select the knowledge base you wish to delete, and click the delete button. Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action cannot be undone.
We support a wide range of file formats including PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, HTML, and more. You can also paste text directly or provide a URL for us to scrape content.
The knowledge base is updated in real-time when you make changes through the dashboard. When you add, remove, or modify documents, the system immediately begins re-indexing to ensure the latest content is available for your widgets.
Currently, each widget can be associated with a single knowledge base. However, you can combine multiple sources into a single knowledge base by uploading multiple documents or providing multiple URLs.
The resolution rate percentage indicates how often your widget successfully resolves user queries without requiring human intervention. A higher resolution rate means your widget is effectively answering questions based on its knowledge base.
First, check that your widget is published and not in draft status. Verify that the associated knowledge base is indexed and ready. Ensure the deployment script is correctly placed on your website. If issues persist, check the analytics for error rates and contact support if needed.
Mivlet offers an uptime SLA of 99.9% for all paid plans, ensuring your widgets remain available and responsive to your users. The free plan also maintains high availability but does not include a formal SLA.
You can contact our support team through the dashboard's help section, via email at [email protected], or through the live chat widget on our website. Priority support is available for paid plans.
